The flag of Pretoria is the flag that represents the city of Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. The flag is simple in design, as it has only two colors, red and yellow. Red is located on the top half, while yellow is on the bottom portion. These colors are the official city colors, derived from the city arms.
Famous quotes containing the word flag:
“By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April’s breeze unfurled,
Here once the embattled farmers stood
And fired the shot heard round the world.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
