Qualifications
Each year, there is a large amount of confusion about the actual rules of the run. Most talk about the event is spread by word of mouth among freshmen living on campus who have never experienced it. This tends to lead to the annual "Freshman Fuck-up run" where the freshmen get too anxious to wait for a qualifying night and instead run naked through campus regardless of the time or the presence or absence of rain. The official rules are the following:
- It must be raining consistently (not misting or periodic showers) from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
- It must occur on a school night.
- The run must start from Porter College.
