Stagecoach Merseyside Sale
On Monday 12 November 2012 it was announced that FirstGroup were selling their Chester and Wirral operations to Stagecoach for £4.5 million. The operation which included approximately 110 vehicles and 290 staff are to come under Stagecoach's Merseyside and South Lancashire operations.. The takeover took place on 13 January 2013 and is now operated under the name Stagecoach in Chester and Wirral, as part of Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire.
