Fire Drill - Fire Drill Regulations

Fire Drill Regulations

Many jurisdictions require that fire drills be conducted at certain intervals. This is most often the case in elementary, middle, and high schools as well as most colleges and universities, but sometimes other places as well. Often the frequency of such drills and any special actions that must be taken during such drills are listed in the statute.

Famous quotes containing the words fire, drill and/or regulations:

Boys, when you see the enemy, fire and then run, and as I am a little lame, I will run now.

Swift blazing flag of the regiment,
Eagle with crest of red and gold,
These men were born to drill and die.
Point for them the virtue of slaughter,
Make plain to them the excellence of killing
And a field where a thousand corpses lie.
    Stephen Crane (1871–1900)

If it were possible to make an accurate calculation of the evils which police regulations occasion, and of those which they prevent, the number of the former would, in all cases, exceed that of the latter.
    Karl Wilhelm Von Humboldt (1767–1835)
