F.I.R. (TV Series)
F.I.R. is an Indian television sitcom first shown on July 31, 2006, on SAB TV. The show is produced by Edit II Productions and is being broadcast Monday to Friday at 10:30 p.m IST. The sitcom was nominated for the Best Sitcom category at the Indian Telly Awards in 2009. The sitcom is set in a police station.
On March 16, 2013, the show took a 20 year leap from 2013 to 2033. The show,however, witnessed several changes in timings,frequency of airing, plot,characters etc. owing to the poor response by the viewers and fans communities towards the 20 year leap and significant changes in the characters and cast. Decreasing popularity and TRP made the crew of the sitcom revert back the entire set of changes, making way for the re-entry of Kavita Kaushik as Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala from 8th July, 2013.
