Notable large mammals are the Eurasian Lynx, Italian Wolf, Marsican Brown Bear, Pyrenean Chamois, Alpine Ibex, Common Genet, Axis Deer, Mouflon, Rough-toothed Dolphin and Mediterranean Monk Seal.
