FCC is accredited by the ACICS, Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education, and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. FCC is recognized as an eligible educational institution by the United States Department of Education, United States Department of Homeland Security's United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Social Security Administration, State Department of Administration, State Department of Rehabilitation, The Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) and the Veteran’s Administration Agency. FCC is also a member of San Diego Workforce Partnership. We are approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. Approval means we have met certain minimum standards imposed by the state for degree-granting and vocational institutions on the basis of the state’s evaluation of our written application to the state and other information available to the state. We have been granted the maximum five year approval to issue Degrees in both Fashion Business and technology and Fashion Design and Technology Programs and Certificates in Fashion Business and Technology and Fashion Design and Technology.
