1. Late Pandit MulChand Dubey, Advocate, MP

He was the first elected member of Lok Sabha (M.P.) from Farrukhabad and continued to hold the same for consecutive three times till his death in 1963. He was born in Bilgram, District Unnao (UP). He graduated in law from Allahabad University and practiced at Fatehgarh Bar. He was prominent personality of the district because he was a dedicated social worker and Gandhian freedom fighter. He was close associate of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. He was also an active member of Arya Samaj. His residence 13 Park Road (now Rajput Road) at Fatehgarh hosted great freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Sardar Patel, Govind Ballabh Pant and Indira Gandhi.

2. Late Dr. Zakir Hussain

Zakir Hussain was born in Hyderabad Deccan,India. His ancestors were among the Rohilla Pashtun from Rohilkhand however, his roots linked to the Afridi Pushtuns pertaining to the mountainous region located at the border between Pakistani province of Sobha Sarhat and eastern Afghanistan. His ancestors were the pushtun soldiers who moved to Rohilkhand Northern India during the Afghan invasion of the 17th century. His family had migrated from Hyderabad Deccan to Kaimganj, district Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh. His father died when he was ten years old, and his mother died in 1911 when he was fourteen years old. He attended Islamia High School, Etawah, and was then educated at the Anglo-Muhammadan Oriental College (now Aligarh Muslim University), where he was a prominent student leader.

3. Khurshed Alam Khan

Former Member of Parliament, He was Governor of Karnataka from 1991 to 1999 and governor of Goa from 1989 to 1991. Before that he was Union minister of External affairs in Government of India. He is associated with Jamia Millia Islamia. .

4. Salman Khurshid.

He is presently the Cabinet Minister of the Ministry of Law and Justice and Ministry of Minority Affairs. Prior to this he was elected to the 10th Lok Sabha (1991–1996) from the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha constituency. He became the Union Deputy Minister of Commerce in June 1991, and later became the Union Minister of State of External Affairs (Jan. 1993-June 1996). Before that he had started his political career in 1981 as an Officer on Special Duty in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) under the prime ministership of Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

5. Late Mahadevi Varma

Mahadevi Varma is best known as an outstanding Hindi poet, was a freedom fighter, woman's activist and educationist from India.She was a major poet of the Chhayavaad generation, a period of romanticism in Modern Hindi poetry ranging from 1914-1938. With passage of time, her limited but outstanding prose has been recognised as unique in Hindi Literature. She was a prominent poet in Hindi Kavi sammelans (Gatherings of poets).

6. Renu Khator

Born in Farrukhabad in 1955, Renu Khator is the eighth chancellor of the University of Houston System and the thirteenth president of the University of Houston. She is the first foreign born president of the university and the first Indian American leading a major research university in the United States.
