Fantasy was created by Jim Krivda, and its notes are red lychee, golden quince, kiwi, cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate, orchid, musk, orris root and sensual woods. It is initially smelling fruity, then very sweet, showing the promised smells of cupcake and white chocolate, with a very light floral smell.

The Fuchsia bottle is famous for featuring real Swarovski crystals embedded into the glass and the plastic collar. In 2008, the collar began being produced without the Swarovski Crystals, and now all of the Fantasy perfumes have switched to a plastic molded collar with no crystals, but only the 1.7has jewels on its collar. Excluding, of course, new release Hidden Fantasy, which never featured Swarovski crystals in the collar. A believed reasoning behind the use without the crystals was because the glue of the crystal top would melt in higher temperatures. Many buyers soon realized this after a considerable time after purchase. The crystal top was found to be able to move and the glue became very messy.

The television commercial for Fantasy Britney Spears was shot in Los Angeles and was directed by Bille Woodruff. It stars actor–model Nick Steele as the Hunter, with the background music being "Breathe on Me".

Famous quotes containing the word fantasy:

The search for conspiracy only increases the elements of morbidity and paranoia and fantasy in this country. It romanticizes crimes that are terrible because of their lack of purpose. It obscures our necessary understanding, all of us, that in this life there is often tragedy without reason.
    Anthony Lewis (b. 1927)
