Fantastic Voyage (David Bowie Song)

"Fantastic Voyage" is a song written by David Bowie and Brian Eno in 1979 for the album Lodger. It is one of the last songs Bowie performed live on stage before his retirement from live performances in late 2006 (alongside "Changes" and "Wild Is the Wind").

Famous quotes containing the words fantastic and/or voyage:

On the breast of her gown, in fine red cloth, surrounded with an elaborate embroidery and fantastic flourishes of gold thread, appeared the letter A.
    Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804–1864)

I dare say I am compelled, unconsciously compelled, now to write volume after volume, as in past years I was compelled to go to sea, voyage after voyage. Leaves must follow upon each other as leagues used to follow in the days gone by, on and on to the appointed end, which, being Truth itself, is One—one for all men and for all occupations.
    Joseph Conrad (1857–1924)
