Fangoria Comics - Planning

Planning

Announced at San Diego's Comic-Con International in 2006, Fangoria Comics officially launched in June 2007. Executive Editor Scott Licina touted the line at many conventions, demonstrating that the comics would use a mix of established and original concepts. Several of the books had tie-ins to pre-existing films or franchises, while others are wholly original.

Famous quotes containing the word planning:

Play for young children is not recreation activity,... It is not leisure-time activity nor escape activity.... Play is thinking time for young children. It is language time. Problem-solving time. It is memory time, planning time, investigating time. It is organization-of-ideas time, when the young child uses his mind and body and his social skills and all his powers in response to the stimuli he has met.
James L. Hymes, Jr. (20th century)

    Sensuality takes planning and work.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

My consciousness-raising group is still going on. Every Monday night it meets, somewhere in Greenwich Village, and it drinks a lot of red wine and eats a lot of cheese. A friend of mine who is in it tells me that at the last meeting, each of the women took her turn to explain, in considerable detail, what she was planning to stuff her Thanksgiving turkey with. I no longer go to the group.
    Nora Ephron (b. 1941)
