Fairfield County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 146,156, which is an increase of 19.1% from 122,759 in 2000. Its county seat is Lancaster. Its name is a reference to the Fairfield area of the original Lancaster.
Fairfield County is part of the Columbus Metropolitan Statistical Area.
