Fahrenheit (SA Band)

Fahrenheit (SA Band)

Fahrenheit is a South African band formed in the fall of 2004 as Wayne Joshua Band with founding members Shai Caleb (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and Wayne Joshua (drums, keyboards and percussions) who recruited the musicians Yves Dei-Conti (piano and guitar) and Paul McIver (on Korg and bass guitar) to form the band. The band was later renamed Fahrenheit.

Shai Caleb and Wayne Joshua, long time singer songwriters and production duo, had been for years producing projects and recording solo artists in their famous Dreamspace Studios in Clifton Cove. After years of success with other artists, they decided to start something of their own with a some musicians they knew. Fahrenheit was the first successful group to make #1 in South African charts for 7 weeks in a row in a debut album Chan Reaction. They embarked on a 40-day fully booked country-wide tour with great success based on a big fan base. The band later embarked on an international tour which includes the Americas, Europe and Great Britain.

Famous quotes containing the word fahrenheit:

Did you know, Putnam, that more murders are committed at 92 Fahrenheit than any other temperature? I read an article once. Lower temperatures, people are easygoing. Over 92, it’s too hot to move. But just 92, people get irritable.
