F.A.C.E. School - Floors

Floors

FACE is divided into five floors, from the basement to the fourth. The kindergarten and pre-kindergarten classes are all on the first floor. Grades one to three generally occupy most of the second floor, while Grades 4 and higher have classes on all floors. There is also a sub-basement. There are four staircases going through the basement to the 4th floor. They are called "red stairs, "green stairs", "blue stairs" and yellow stairs". The Yellow stairs lead to the sub-basement and there is also another staircase, called the black stairs(by the students), leading there at the bottom of the Blue stairs. Sadly the stairs are getting a paint job and are no longer representative of their name.

Famous quotes containing the word floors:

The day was ending at it was the hour of which I do not want to speak, the hour without a name, when the sounds of evening ascended from all the floors of the prison in a procession of silence.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

your bare feet on the floors of silence
speak in rhymed stanzas to the furniture,
solemn chests of drawers and heavy chairs
blinking in the sun you have let in!
    Denise Levertov (b. 1923)

I should have been a pair of ragged claws
Scuttling across the floors of silent seas.
    —T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
