Exit (festival) - Location

Location

Exit takes place at the picturesque Petrovaradin Fortress, located on the right bank of the river Danube in Novi Sad. The cornerstone of the present-day southern part of the fortress was laid on October 18, 1692, by Charles Eugène de Croÿ. Petrovaradin Fortress has many underground tunnels as well (16 km of underground countermine system).

Unique location spices up festival’s atmosphere while it offers superb acoustics, allowing that different events and gigs take place one next to another, without the sound interference. After centuries of turbulent history, today the Fortress is on the list of protected monuments, being the historical, cultural and artistic center of Novi Sad.

On the opposite bank from the fortress you can see a beautiful view of the second largest city in Serbia, Novi Sad, founded in 1694. During the city's long history, it has maintained its multi-cultural identity. Today, Novi Sad is an industrial and financial centre of the Serbian economy, as well as a major cultural hub.

The picturesque city of Novi Sad also has lots to offer visitors with a rich history along with a bustling cafe and hospitality culture.
