  • In a December 1994 storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful the characters Macy Alexander and Thorne Forrester gave a concert in the Netherlands which included a performance of "Everlasting Love": the performances featured on the TV show were culled from two concerts at the Ahoy Rotterdam headlined by Bobbie Eakes (Macy) and Jeff Trachta (Thorne) that October.
  • The rendition of "Everlasting Love" by the Cast from Casualty fronted by Rebecca Wheatley - a #5 UK hit in 1998 - was first performed on episode #26 of series 12 of Casualty broadcast February 28, 1998. The episode was Part 2 of a two-part story entitled "Everlasting Love" which focused on the wedding of veteran characters Charlie Fairhead and Barbara "Baz" Wilder, the song "Everlasting Love" being sung at the couple's reception at the end of the episode which was the finale of Casualty's twelfth series.
  • The version by Love Affair features in the film Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), but not on the soundtrack album which features the Jamie Cullum version. Cullum's version was heard in the trailer for the film Imagine That.
  • The Carl Carlton version has served as an advertising jingle for Hallmark Cards US/Canada TV ad campaign for musical cards.
  • The Love Affair version was used in the early 2000s for a UK TV ad campaign for McDonald's. After Clare Torry made enquiries with McDonald's on behalf of the session musicians who played on the track - including vocalists Madeline Bell, Lesley Duncan and Kay Garner - these musicians received remuneration for performing on the ad in the amount of £400 (the original session fee for the vocalists had been six guineas each).
  • In 2006 Pringles potato chips utilized a version of "Everlasting Love" for a television ad campaign; the version was specially recorded with session musicians.
  • The Kerry Norton version of the song originated in a 2005 Dutch TV ad campaign for Grolsch beer.
  • The Carl Carlton version was frequently used in the HBO series Arli$$ (usually when the end credits were displayed).
  • The 2003 film Veronica Guerin features the U2 version of "Everlasting Love"; Cate Blanchett as the title character dances to the song with actors Barry Barnes and Simon O'Driscoll as respectively Guerin's husband and the couple's son.
  • The song has been performed three times on American Idol, by Clay Aiken, Jasmine Trias, and Scott Savol.
  • The song featured as the background music on the BBC TV programme The Rock 'n' Roll Years for the 1981 edition, aired in early 1994, during the clip which showed the marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Ironically, the episode was made after the couple had separated.
