European Tour Golfer of The Year - Leading Career Money Winners

Leading Career Money Winners

The table below shows the top 10 career money leaders on the European Tour after the 2011 season. Due to increases in prize money over the years, it is dominated by current players. The figures are not the players' complete career earnings as most of them have earned millions more on other tours (especially the PGA Tour) or from non-tour events. In addition, elite golfers often earn several times as much from endorsements and golf-related business interests as they do from prize money.

Famous quotes containing the words leading, career, money and/or winners:

Everywhere—all over Africa and South America ... you see these suburbs springing up. They represent the optimum of what people want. There’s a certain sort of logic leading towards these immaculate suburbs. And they’re terrifying, because they are the death of the soul.... This is the prison this planet is being turned into.
    —J.G. (James Graham)

My ambition in life: to become successful enough to resume my career as a neurasthenic.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)

... there is something quixotic in me about money, something meek and guilty. I want it and like it. But I cannot imagine insisting on it, pressing it out of people. I always vaguely feel: why should I have money when other people have it not? It is like taking the biggest piece of cake. And I can never feel that I have earned it.
    Brenda Ueland (1891–1985)

The two real political parties in America are the Winners and the Losers. The people don’t acknowledge this. They claim membership in two imaginary parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, instead.
    Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. (b. 1922)
