Congresses
Annual Congresses have been organized since the inauguration of the ECSS in 1995. The ECSS Congresses are attended by sport scientists worldwide with an academic career. On average over 70% of the participants have at least a PhD or an equivalent in the field of sport science or a related discipline. Future ECSS Congresses include 2009 Oslo, Norway, 2010 Antalya, Turkey and 2011 Liverpool, United Kingdom. These congresses comprise a range and selection of invited lecturers, multi- and mono-disciplinary symposia as well as tutorial lectures and socratic debates.
