Professional Life
In 1917, when the family was able to return to Mexico from Boston, the brewery was given back to the Garza Sada family with the intervention of the American and the Russian government. Garza Sada began working at the brewery in Monterrey, where his father was Director-General, the equivalent of a modern CEO. His first job there was in the statistics department, and from there he was promoted to positions of greater responsibility. After his father died, Garza Sada was named the company's Director-General, alternating the job with his brother Roberto.
During their management, they started a large number of businesses to support beer production, such as a glass company to make the beer bottles, which later became Vitro. They also opened Grafo Regia, a business which produced labels for the bottles and boxes for the finished product. He and his brother also founded Hojalata y Lamina de Monterrey, known today by its acronym, HYLSA.

Famous quotes containing the words professional and/or life:
“The relationship between mother and professional has not been a partnership in which both work together on behalf of the child, in which the expert helps the mother achieve her own goals for her child. Instead, professionals often behave as if they alone are advocates for the child; as if they are the guardians of the childs needs; as if the mother left to her own devices will surely damage the child and only the professional can rescue him.”
—Elaine Heffner (20th century)
“The child-rearing years are relatively short in our increased life span. It is hard for young women caught between diapers and formulas to believe, but there are years and years of freedom ahead. I regret my impatience to get on with my career. I wish Id relaxed, allowed myself the luxury of watching the world through my little girls eyes.”
—Eda Le Shan (20th century)
