Iranian Pashtuns
There has been a long history of population movements between Afghan Pashtuns and Iranians. Iranian Pashtuns live in northeastern Iran, primarily in South Khorasan Province to the east of Qaen, near the Afghan border. Their native population (not including refugees) is 113,000 in Iran. A further number of Pashtuns also live among the Afghan refugees in Iran.
