Villa was the home of several soccer franchises, the highest level to be played in the Villa Stadium was the Liga de Ascenso were the Real Sociedad de Zacatecas played nine seasons from 1997 to 2003. Other leagues were the Zacatecas' teams played was the Segunda Division (currently). Segunda B, Tercera Division and the amateur leagues in the Zacatecas' area.
