Esslingen University of Applied Sciences - Campus

Campus

  • Hilltop Campus – Hochschulzentrum (HZE)
  • City Campus – Stadtmitte
  • Göppingen Campus

The Esslingen University of Applied Sciences has three locations: the main city campus is right in the middle of downtown and is also referred to as “der Stall” (the stable). This is not because the old neo-classical style building or the futuristic new building from 1992 remotely resemble a stable, but because the original school was located directly across from the royal riding stables of the time.

The hilltop campus is known as the Acropolis. The huge concrete block from the 1960s is prominently situated on the city’s northern hills and provides a good view of Esslingen and the entire Neckar Valley.

The new campus in Göppingen is 23 kilometers away. The Göppingen site is home to the faculties for mechatronics and electrical engineering, as well as the bachelor study program business information management.
