Esa-Pekka Salonen ( pronunciation; born June 30, 1958 in Helsinki) is a Finnish orchestral conductor and composer. He is currently Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Philharmonia Orchestra in London and Conductor Laureate of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
