Errol Le Cain

Errol Le Cain (5 March 1941 – 3 January 1989) was a British animator and children's book illustrator. He won the 1984 Kate Greenaway Medal from the Library Association, recognising the year's best children's book illustration by a British subject. The book was Hiawatha's Childhood (Faber), based on "a very short extract" from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1855 epic poem The Song of Hiawatha.
