The expression "happy ending" is a colloquial term for the practice of a masseuse to offer sexual release to a client. The 2009 documentary Happy Endings? follows women who work in Asian massage parlours in Rhode Island where prostitution was legal. Although the film focuses on full service massage parlours, "rub and tug" massage parlours (where only handjobs are offered) are also covered.

Famous quotes containing the word cultural:
“If in the earlier part of the century, middle-class children suffered from overattentive mothers, from being mothers only accomplishment, todays children may suffer from an underestimation of their needs. Our idea of what a child needs in each case reflects what parents need. The childs needs are thus a cultural football in an economic and marital game.”
