Eric Roman Brady II is a fictional character from the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. Though played by several actors since the character's on-screen birth in 1984, the character is currently portrayed by Greg Vaughan who made his debut on November 13, 2012. Vaughan's casting brought the character of Eric back from a 12-year absence, when the role was last portrayed by actor Jensen Ackles. Eric is the twin brother of Sami Brady, and the only son of Days of our Lives supercouple, Roman Brady and Dr. Marlena Evans. He is known for his romantic relationship with Sami's arch-enemy Nicole Walker.
