Enemy of the Sun is the fourth studio album from California based post-metal band Neurosis. It was originally released on Alternative Tentacles in 1993 and later reissued on Neurot Recordings in 1999. The album was reissued with new cover artwork on August 20, 2010. On February 14, 2012, a fully remastered version was released on vinyl via Relapse Records.

Famous quotes containing the words enemy of, enemy and/or sun:

You shouldn’t be a big shot about your fate. I’m an enemy of Destiny, I’m not a Greek, I’m a Berliner.
    Alfred Döblin (1878–1957)

Resolve not to be poor: whatever you have, spend less. Poverty is a great enemy to human happiness; it certainly destroys liberty, and it makes some virtues impracticable, and others extremely difficult.
    Samuel Johnson (1709–1784)

A man is reputed to have thought and eloquence; he cannot, for all that, say a word to his cousin or his uncle. They accuse his silence with as much reason as they would blame the insignificance of a dial in the shade. In the sun it will mark the hour. Among those who enjoy his thought, he will regain his tongue.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
