Emmanuel College teams, nicknamed athletically as the Lions, are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC). Men's sports include baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball and water polo; while women's sports include basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track & field, volleyball and water polo.
