Surviving E-units
A number of E-units survive, and there are a good number in running order. Several railroads retain a set of E-units to haul passenger specials, management inspection specials, and the like. Others survive in museums or on short lines. The Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, GA has Southern Railways #6901 which powered the Southern Crescent.
