The Sixth Form
Emanuel's Sixth Form consists of around 170 students across both the Lower Sixth (Year 12) and Upper Sixth (Year 13). A purpose-built Sixth Form Centre provides the base for the group, with its own Common Room overlooking the school playing fields, a cafeteria, lecture room, games room, computer suite, changing rooms and study areas.

Famous quotes containing the words sixth and/or form:
“The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose, and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“Now, what I want is, Facts. Teach these boys and girls nothing but Facts. Facts alone are wanted in life. Plant nothing else, and root out everything else. You can only form the minds of reasoning animals upon Facts: nothing else will ever be of any service to them. This is the principle on which I bring up my own children, and this is the principle on which I bring up these children. Stick to Facts, sir!”
—Charles Dickens (18121870)
