Elizabeth Railway Station - Redevelopment 2011-2012

Redevelopment 2011-2012

In 2010, the South Australian Government announced that the station will undergo a $15 million upgrade to start in September 2011. The upgrade is a part of the state government's $2 billion investment into public transport over 10 years. The redevelopment plans to transform the station into an interchange similar to that of Mawson Interchange.

The upgraded station reopened on 31 March 2012, with some minor works still ongoing.
