Academics

Elizabeth Moir School follows the British education system. Students sit for Ordinary Level and Advanced Level examinations in the Senior School. Since the school’s inception, students have been awarded places at Harvard, Cambridge and other leading universities throughout the world.

In August 2007,students at Elizabeth Moir School received the following results:

  • 75% of A Level papers were awarded an A or B grade and there was a 98.5% pass rate.
  • 78.6% of O Level papers were awarded an A or B grade and there was a 98.8% pass rate.

2007 proved to be another very successful year for university applications at Elizabeth Moir School. All Upper Sixth students obtained admission into their first choice universities in the UK (including the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the University of Nottingham, Imperial College, London School of Economics and University of Warwick), the USA (some on scholarships), Singapore, Malaysia and Korea.
