Electronics City has very little retail stores in spite of having a fairly large residential catchment. The area is mainly served by 3 departmental stores
- Nilgiris - Neeladri Road
- Four Points Supermarket - Neeladri Road
- Smart Supermarket - DoddaThogur
A major mall is being built called Neomall as part of a larger township development - Neotown expected to be completed by 2013. When built the mall will be one of the largest in India. This mall would be the first strip mall in India.
Another mixed use commercial building is being constructed by the Hiranandani group called Hiranandani Ashford which will house retail spaces as well.
Things are likely to change with large malls slated to come up in Electronics City.
