Iraq's electricity infrastructure consists of a network of
- Generation facilities that produce power
- Transmission stations and lines that transmit power from power stations to distribution networks
- Distribution stations and lines that move power to the end users
- An automated monitoring and control system, under development, which is a centralized communications and control system designed to monitor system performance and control equitable distribution of power.
