Electorate of Baden

The Electorate of Baden was a State of the Holy Roman Empire between 1803 and 1806, with Charles Frederick as Prince-elector. Napoleon bestowed the office of Prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire in 1803; but this didn't endure, since Francis II then dissolved the Empire in 1806. In balance this, Charles Frederick was made a Grand Duke.
