The people of Ekambarakuppam speak mostly Tamil and Telugu. The residents and visitors can be seen in both traditional attire like Dhoti, Lungi and Saree and modern attire.

Here GANGAMMA JATHARA is conducted in second week of September. This is very famous in the surrounding villages. The people participates with full of energy and joy. All over the world whoever is working out of Ekambarakuppam, they will also come and enjoy the festival. The jatara is headed by Bheemi Reddy family.
