Humane Practices
Eggology has received the "Certified Humane Raised and Handled" designation from Humane Farm Animal Care, a Virginia-based animal welfare auditing organization. Among the criteria that must be met in order to earn certification are that animals be allowed to "engage in their natural behaviors," that they be raised with "sufficient space, shelter, and gentle handling" to minimize stress, and that their diet be free of added antibiotics or hormones.
