Edward Laemmle

Edward Laemmle (25 October 1887 – 2 April 1937) was an American film director of the silent era. He directed 62 films between 1920 and 1935.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois and died in Los Angeles, California. He was the nephew of Carl Laemmle, founder of Universal Studios. His half sister is Carla Laemmle, dancer and actress. Edward married April 8, 1923. He was a father of two girls, and settled in Beverly Hills, California.
