Fadeley was later sued by the firm that defended him against the ethics violations allegation for fees owed, but Fadeley claimed the fees charged were “outrageous” as well as that the defense was inadequate. In 2007, Fadeley was suspended by the Oregon Supreme Court for 30 days for violations of ethics rules including charging an excessive fee.
