ECPA Christian Book Award

ECPA Christian Book Award

The Christian Book Award (known as the Gold Medallion Book Award from 1978 through 2005) is an annual award given by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association to honor Christian content in several categories, including Bibles, Fiction, Children, Inspiration, Bible Reference, and Non-Fiction. Winners are announced each year at the industry's Executive Leadership Summit. From among these recipients is also chosen a Christian Book of the Year, based on a combination of judging scores and sales.

Famous quotes containing the words christian, book and/or award:

My object will be, if possible, to form Christian men, for Christian boys I can scarcely hope to make.
    Thomas Arnold (1795–1842)

Hardly a book of human worth, be it heaven’s own secret, is honestly placed before the reader; it is either shunned, given a Periclean funeral oration in a hundred and fifty words, or interred in the potter’s field of the newspapers’ back pages.
    Edward Dahlberg (1900–1977)

The award of a pure gold medal for poetry would flatter the recipient unduly: no poem ever attains such carat purity.
    Robert Graves (1895–1985)
