Rupert's Land

The Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land was formed in 1875, and consists of ten dioceses:

  • Athabasca (Alberta),
  • The Arctic (Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Nunavik (northern Quebec)),
  • Brandon (Manitoba),
  • Calgary (Alberta),
  • Edmonton (Alberta),
  • Keewatin (Manitoba and northwestern Ontario, north of the 49th parallel),
  • Qu'Appelle (Saskatchewan) (corresponding to the pre-1905 District of Assiniboia in the North-West Territories),
  • Rupert's Land (Manitoba),
  • Saskatchewan (Saskatchewan), and
  • Saskatoon (Saskatchewan).

The metropolitan is the Most Rev. David Ashdown of Keewatin.
