Sister Newspaper
The Herald also has a sister newspaper, owned by Beckett Newspapers, called the Eastbourne Gazette. The Gazette is printed on a Wednesday and is cheaper than the Herald. Eastbourne is one of the few remaining towns in the UK which has a midweek paid-for newspaper as well as an end-of-week title.

Famous quotes containing the words sister and/or newspaper:
“Whether changes in the sibling relationship during adolescence create long-term rifts that spill over into adulthood depends upon the ability of brothers and sisters to constantly redefine their connection. Siblings either learn to accept one another as independent individuals with their own sets of values and behaviors or cling to the shadow of the brother and sister they once knew.”
—Jane Mersky Leder (20th century)
“My note to you I certainly did not expect to see in print; yet I have not been much shocked by the newspaper comments upon it. Those comments constitute a fair specimen of what has occurred to me through life. I have endured a great deal of ridicule without much malice; and have received a great deal of kindness, not quite free from ridicule. I am used to it.”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
