East Linton has a local football team named East Linton and the team is run by local resident Gordon "Chuff" Rollo and former local resident Christopher Craig. The team currently plays in the Edinburgh and Lothians Amateur League and proudly boasts the local brummie hobbit Alan Gray as a member of the coaching staff.
