From 1966-93, East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency comprised the following Delhi Metropolitan Council segments:

From 1993-2008, it comprised the following Delhi Vidhan Sabha segments:

  2. Patpar Ganj
  3. Mandawali
  4. Geeta Colony
  5. Gandhi Nagar
  6. Krishna Nagar
  7. Vishwash Nagar
  8. Shahdara
  9. Seemapuri
  10. Nand Nagari
  11. Rohtas Nagar
  12. Babarpur
  13. Seelampur
  14. Ghonda
  15. Yamuna Vihar
  16. Qarawal Nagar
  17. Wazirpur
  18. Narela (Polling stations 1-64 and 70-97)
  19. Bhalswa Jahangirpur (Polling stations 3-163)
  20. Adarsh Nagar
  21. Timarpur (Polling stations 46, 97-101)
  22. Model Town (Polling stations 103-113)

Following the delimitation of the parliamentary constituencies, since 2008, it comprises the following Delhi Vidhan Sabha segments:
