Dutch Antilles Express - Livery

Livery

There are several differences in the liveries of Dutch Antilles Express aircraft.

The Fokker 100 used an old DAE livery. It's all white and on the tail section it has the DAE logo. The fuselage has the DAE website on it. The planes will be updated with the new livery.

The McDonnell Douglas MD-83 have a newer livery, the fuselage has blue and yellow stripes which represents the waters of the Caribbean from which Curacao forms a part of and the Sun, typical of standard Caribbean weather. The engines have Curacao's official logo on it and the aircraft's tail features the O representing the sun from Curacao's logo.

Famous quotes containing the word livery:

Whether, if you yield not to your father’s choice,
You can endure the livery of a nun,
For aye to be in shady cloister mewed,
To live a barren sister all your life,
Chanting faint hymns to the cold fruitless moon.
Thrice blessed they that master so their blood
    To undergo such maiden pilgrimage.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

This death’s livery which walled its bearers from ordinary life was sign that they have sold their wills and bodies to the State: and contracted themselves into a service not the less abject for that its beginning was voluntary.
    —T.E. (Thomas Edward)
