Drusilla (born 38, died 25 August 79 AD) was a daughter of Herod Agrippa I and thus sister to Berenice, Mariamne and Herod Agrippa II.
Famous quotes containing the words drusilla and/or herod:
“I laugh when I think that all of Rome made it a point not to pronounce Drusillas name. Because Rome was mistaken for all those years. Love is not enough for me, and I understood that then.... To love someone is to accept to grow old with her. An old Drusilla is far worse than a dead one.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
“I forsak the, Kyng Herowdes, and thi werkes alle;
Ther is a chyld in Bedlem born is beter than we alle.”
—Unknown. St. Stephen and King Herod (l. 68)
