Famous quotes containing the words druid, hills, golf and/or club:
“Oh, let me midlife mourn by the shrined
And druid herons vows
The voyage to ruin I must run,
Dawn ships clouted aground,
Yet, though I cry with tumbledown tongue,
Count my blessings aloud....”
—Dylan Thomas (19141953)
“Fretted shadow on stumps
A vanishing husk
Of light . . . grey lumps
Of stone verge the hills with fears.
It is quickly dusk.”

“And the wind shall say Here were decent godless people;
Their only monument the asphalt road
And a thousand lost golf balls.”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
