Terms

Tribe
In the world of Dragon Knights, there are 4 Tribes: Dragon, Yōkai, Spirit, and Humans.
    • Dragon: If not referred by the term "Duel Dragon" or "Elemental Dragon", this is most likely a member of the Dragon Tribe.
    • Youkai (Yōkai): Simply put, a demon. It is interesting to mention that while Tokyopop translates this as Yokai, a direct translation from the Japanese gives you Yōkai or Youkai instead. It is also argued that a Yōkai, in Japanese, refers specifically to sentient demons, those of a higher rank.
    • Spirit Tribe (Elves): Elves, which also includes Water Lights and Faeries, can use healing magic and the power of virtue.
    • Human: Self-explanatory. Humans possess no magic.
Alchemist
The one who creates souls of demons. Kharl is the only alchemist, or Renkin Wizard, in Dragon Knights. Also known as the "One-Winged Angel".
Dragon Tribe
The Dragon Clan, led by the Dragon Lord Lykouleon and Lady Raseleane, is basically the head of Dusis, a sort of a government.
Nadil's Army
The demons who fight for Nadil. Refer to "Nadil's Army" section above.
Duel Dragons/Elemental Dragons
Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, and Light, these dragons aid the Dragon Knights and can use their own elemental powers.
Water Lights
Small, flying faeries who are usually pictured as glowing balls. They are a part of the Spirit Tribe.

Famous quotes containing the word terms:

Women have acquired equal place to man in society, but the double standard has really never been relinquished; certainly not by men. Modern man’s fear of passivity or of the active woman proves to be as eternal as modern woman’s struggle to come to terms with her femininity.
    Peter Blos (20th century)

If men do not keep on speaking terms with children, they cease to be men, and become merely machines for eating and for earning money.
    John Updike (b. 1932)

If you want to be on good terms with everyone in this world, sell goods on credit and never ask for payment.
    Chinese proverb.
