Dozen Girls

"Dozen Girls" was a single by The Damned, released in 1982.

After the experiment of "Lovely Money", it saw a return to slightly more familiar territory, but failed to chart. The album version released on Strawberries is slightly different from the single version, with the play-out featuring a roll call of a dozen girls replaced by the repeated line "He's alright and he don't care, he's got thermal underwear". Some pressings of the single credited Billy Karloff as a co-writer of "Dozen Girls".

The single was also issued in Bolivia by Phillips, with "Bad Time for Bonzo" on the B-side.

Famous quotes containing the words dozen and/or girls:

One man with a head on his shoulders is worth a dozen without.
    Elizabeth I (1533–1603)

If a girl’s a stewardess, she might as well forget it after twenty-six. They no longer have compulsory retirement, but the girls get into a rut at that age. A lot of them start showing the rough life they’ve lived.
Beryl Simpson, U.S. employment counselor; former airline reservationist. As quoted in Working, book 2, by Studs Terkel (1973)
