Doug Carrion

From the moment Doug Carrion's mom took him to the legendary Light House in Hermosa Beach, California to see Jazz for the first time at the age of 9, his passion became music. He taught himself to play guitar and began his career in music as a musician - playing in underground favorites such as Descendents, Dag Nasty and Circle Jerks. His interest in writing, recording, engineering and producing were all part of the same musical program.

Doug's reputation as a songwriter and player sometimes obscures the fact that he is also a capable engineer, mixer and producer. Doug has contributed to the production and engineering on many of the albums he's played on, though he rarely seeks credit for such work because he feels it is part of his role as a songwriter.

He went on to work with a number of well respected artists, producers and engineers including, Matt Hyde, Perry Ferrel, Pennywise, The Crow Soundtrack, Josh Freese, and Kottonmouth Kings.
